first smiles

6 weeks old. roman has started to smile so much!! he is so sweet and happy:)

i know this post is out of order.. but i just had to post one of javan's birthday which was may 21st. he said it was his "best birthday ever." we had a party at our house with friends and family. we love you so much javan! you are growing up to be such a fun-loving, joyful, smart, sweet, little man:)

The first weekend in October was Lydia (Jared's sister) and Kyle's wedding. It was a beautiful fall wedding, and great to see so many of our family.. I didn't take many pics at the wedding.. (chasing two small children around at a wedding. Enough said)

end of summer...

happy birthday daddy!!! we love you. Aug 30th, 2013. dirt cake was jared's request..:)

Camping at Devil's Lake: here are some pics from our annual (3 years in a row now) trip to Devil's Lake state park. Our friends Joel and Aliza met us for 2 of the nights along with their son Jakob, who is Josiah's age, and AnnaSophia 5 months. it was an adventure for sure having 4 small children and sleeping in tents.. but we survived and even had a few relaxing moments :)
