lately..

javan is now 15 months old! the summer is just flying by. he is so much fun and has more of a little personality everyday:) he is currently getting all 4 molars at once... running around everywhere.. eating eating eating.. and growing bigger each day. his first official word was "hot" and says it whenever something comes out of the microwave. he loves playing outside, going on walks, and playing in his little pool. here are some pics from the past few months..

camping

last weekend we took javan on his first camping trip to Devil's Lake. it turned out pretty well considering we were in a tent in the woods with a 1 year old! javan had so much fun hiking around the lake, watching daddy fish, cooking dinner over the campfire (well watching anyways), and sitting in the hammock. i think he actually slept better than jared and i did:) we got rained out friday night so we were only able to go on saturday. it was a fun family adventure and we hope to do it again sometime soon!
