first hair cut

so we decided that it was time for a "trim". we loved his long hair but it was constantly in his eyes and was practically half way down his back. unfortunately her idea of a "trim" was a bit different from mine. she chopped off all his curls and left the front shorter than i like. but at least hair will grow back :) he is still our little cutie.

Javan is 9 months old!!

we can't believe our baby is 9 months old already! how time flies :) he is on the move constantly.. not wanting to stay still for very long. he is still taking 3 naps a day plus sleeping 12 hrs at night.. (well... most nights) he loves to sleep that's for sure! and eat! i think he would eat all day long if we let him. he is now getting his 7th tooth as well.

he is just so sweet and such a joy to have in our lives..

8 months

well, it's hard to believe but javan is 8 months old today!! last night he crawled across the room for the first time while i was at work! and boy does he love to eat! we will start introducing new foods to him now besides baby cereal and fruits and veggies. he babbles "mamama" and "dadada".. so cute:) we are thankful that he continues to be a healthy happy boy.

7 months

our sweet boy is 7 months old! he now has 4 teeth, and is getting a 5th. he will eat pretty much anything you give him (he LOVES bananas) he is able to sit up on his own now..and i'm sure it won't be long until he is crawling everywhere. he is so curious about everything and will put anything he can get his hands on in his mouth. javan has been babbling a ton, and last week he even said ma ma! well..it's more like ma ma ma ma ma ma:) (although i'm sure he does not know what he is saying, it still makes me smile)

javan's first christmas was the best one yet.. we spent the holiday with lots of food and family :) it was definitely a white and snowy christmas. javan loved grabbing at the christmas tree branches, staring at the lights, and tearing open..(well, trying to eat) his gifts... happy birthday jesus!
